If you subscribed a while ago, welcome back — the newsletter is live again, and the whole site has been rebuilt around it. Here is what is new, and what to expect from The Weekly Rundown from here.
A quick word on the quiet stretch first: it has been a while, and that is on me. I may have been gone a while, but I have been trading more than ever — and not only my own accounts. I now trade at a private family office as a multi-asset trader, which is a big part of why things went quiet here.
The upside: everything I publish from now on is no longer just from my own retail experience — it's also partnered with my institutional experience.
The centrepiece is a live Trade Log. It tracks every position I hold — entries, exits, scale-ins and option legs — marked against live prices and shown in percentage terms only, never dollar amounts. It is the same book I trade, kept transparent: open positions, closed trades, win rate and realised performance, all in one place.
Alongside it is a Research section with the full thesis behind each trade — macro setup, technicals, structure and the levels that would prove me wrong — plus framework notes on how I build and size positions. There is also a complete trading manual covering options, the Greeks, volatility and cross-asset macro, and a set of free calculators in Tools.
Starting this Sunday, The Weekly Rundown lands weekly. Each issue walks through three things: where the portfolio stands right now, what I am watching for the week ahead, and the macro read driving it. Honest and opinionated, with clear conclusions and the levels that would invalidate them — and, as everywhere on the site, percentages only.
No noise and no filler. If a week is quiet, the note will be short. Everything I reference is tracked transparently on the live Trade Log, so you can always see the positioning behind the commentary rather than taking it on faith.
If you want a feel for the approach before Sunday, the live Trade Log is the place to start, and the Research section has the full reasoning behind the current book. Both are linked below.
This is a rebuild in progress, so if there is something you would find useful — a chart, a recurring section, a topic — just reply and tell me. The newsletter is better when it is shaped by the people reading it.
Read the live book. Every position here is tracked with real entries, exits and option legs on the Trade Log, and the full theses live in Research. Educational only — not financial advice.
The macro read, what changed in the book, and the research worth your time — straight to your inbox.
